A rustic bridal shower

March 15, 2016

On trend right now: ANTLERS. So of course I’d been pinning them relentlessly and hoping for the perfect opportunity to pull the trigger. That opportunity came in the form of a rustic bridal shower to honor a Colorado wedding in August. In order to keep the event modern and not overly done, I used a cohesive floral design consisting of pinks (the wedding color) and oranges to create contrast. The antler skull was covered in the flowers while antlers also appeared on the invitation, as centerpieces, stamped napkins and favors: bottler openers and wine corks. “The Hunt is Over” quickly became the inspiration for the event but was strategically placed on only a few items. I love how this shower turned out in its simplicity and sophistication.
