My beautiful friend and bride, Victoria, is originally from and still has family in England so it was a no-brainer to bring the cafes of England to Los Angeles for this modern english tea party. Inspired by Victoria’s instagram photos of her recent european trip, we recreated the tablescapes, florals and atmosphere. My favorite feature was the branch hanging over the food table – lavender bouquets for each party guest hung by twine. I’ve been seeing a lot of branch and driftwood art and was excited when it perfectly aligned with this event. And, oh yeah, the fascinator looked stunning on the bride as well as “ma[de] her grandmas proud,” as she said afterwards. I call that a success!
*special thanks to holly and kristin for making the vision come to life!
